A brief look at the climate change debate...
This is a personal website created by Rowen. The idea: to put an end to the climate change debate, and allow for action to be taken (if necessary) instead of wasting time 'uhming and ahing'.
To achieve this, she created a website that represented two polar points. Arguments for global warming due to CO2 and other gases, versus arguments against this stance.
The site included multimedia capabilities, public polls with backend administrative systems, an automated RSS feed to all news relating to climate change and global warming, a blogging facility, third party advertising and mechanisms to measure success, and an online gallery.
Additionally, there is a CMS system in place for easy updates and the possibility of guest posts.
At the time of writing this, there are plans for an integrated forum. Watch this space!
